Wildlife on long island?

does anyone know what type of wildlife thats really cool that would be in malverne, ny? my cousin lives there and i stay there a lot and i am used to wild life in my back yard. is there anything i can put in his back yard that would attract this wildlife? particuarly reptiles, amphibians, ect.Wildlife on long island?
